2018年4月6日下午，国家新药筛选中心主任兼国家化合物样品库主任、87978797威尼斯老品牌院长王明伟研究员在Addenbrooke's医院会晤了剑桥大学内科学教授、代谢研究实验室主任、著名代谢病专家Stephen O'Rahilly爵士，邀请他参加2019年皇后镇分子生物学（上海）会议并作大会报告。Stephen爵士愉快地接受了邀请并与王明伟交流了各自的研究兴趣。

In the afternoon of April 6, 2018, Professor Ming-Wei Wang (Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library and Dean, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University) met with Sir Stephen O'Rahilly (Professor of Medicine and Director of Metabolic Research Laboratories, University of Cambridge), a renowned expert in metabolic diseases at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, U.K. Dr. Wang invited him to attend 2019 Queenstown Molecular Biology Meeting in Shanghai and give a plenary session lecture. Sir Stephen delightfully accepted the invitation and discussed respective research interest with Dr. Wang.
