In the morning of March 27, 2018, Drs. Gang Liu (Senior Program Officer, Global Health Discovery & Translational Sciences, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation), Ning Qin, (Chief Scientific Officer, Global Health Drug Discovery Institute GHDDI), Xin-Jie Chu (Director and Head of Medicinal Chemistry, GHDDI) and Wen Xiong (Director of Scientific Program, GHDDI) visited School of Pharmacy, Fudan University. They were warmly received by Drs. Ming-Wei Wang (Dean) and Liming Shao (Director of Shanghai Center for Drug Discovery & Development). The honorable guests conducted an in depth discussion with the hosts relative to forging a substantial collaboration focusing on drug innovation against diseases of poverty.
