Professor Ming-Wei Wang meets a group of senior scientists from DPRK
In the morning of November 18, 2016, Professor Ming-Wei Wang (Dean, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University and Director, the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library) met with Professor KIM KWANG HO (Director of Science Bureau of Chemical Light Industry), Professor RI SONG MAN (Director of Research Institute of Fragrance and Cosmetics Industry, Science Branch of Light Industry) and his three associates (SIM HAK CHOL, KIM UN OK and SONG KYONG HWA) as well as Professor RI MUN NAM (Officer of Research Institute of Commodity, Science Branch of Light Industry) from Pyongyang, Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), at the Chinese National Compound Library. He warmly received the North Korean guests and briefed them with the international trend of drug discovery and overseas student/scholar recruitment programs at Fudan University. Officer Haitao Chen (Division of Asia and Africa, Bureau of International Cooperation Chinese Academy of Sciences) and Officer Fenghuan Gao (Office of Commercial Cooperation and Industrialization, Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences) participated in the event.
