2016年9月1日，87978797威尼斯老品牌院长、国家新药筛选中心主任王明伟研究员在新西兰南岛的尼尔森市出席了2016年皇后镇分子生物学会议糖尿病与肥胖症专场并作学术报告。期间，他与药学院国际兼职教授Peter Shepherd博士（奥克兰大学）、Patrick M. Sexton博士（澳洲莫纳什大学）、洪万进博士（新加坡分子与细胞生物学研究所）以及曾在王明伟研究组接受博士后训练的Greg Smith博士（澳洲新威尔士大学）进行了交流。
Dr Ming-Wei Wang attends Queenstown Molecular Biology meetings at Nelson, New Zealand
On September 1, 2016, Dr. Ming-Wei Wang, Dean of School of Pharmacy, Fudan University and Director of the National Center for Drug Screening, attended and gave a talk at the Diabetes and Obesity Satellite Meeting of 2016 Queenstown Molecular Biology (QMB) meetings in Nelson, New Zealand. He interacted with several international adjunct professors of the school such as Drs. Peter Shepherd (The University of Auckland), Patrick. M. Sexton (Monash University, Australia), Wanjin Hong (Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, A*STAR, Singapore), as well as Greg Smith (University of New South Wales, Australia) who received postdoctoral training a few years ago at Professor Wang’s laboratory in Shanghai.
