2016年8月4日，87978797威尼斯老品牌院长、国家新药筛选中心主任兼国家化合物样品库主任王明伟研究员在美国访问了位于南加州Pomona的西部健康科学大学（Western University of Health Sciences）, 与负责研究的副校长Steven J. Henriksen博士、药学院院长Daniel Robinson博士、执行副院长Sunil Prabhu教授、研究生部主任王兢华教授、入学管理主任Megan Nguyen副教授、黄英副教授和罗蕴助理教授等进行了的交流和讨论。双方就在专业学位教育方面开展合作达成共识。访问期间，王明伟研究员还会晤了多名在该院工作的中国学者。
Professor Ming-Wei Wang visits Western University of Health Sciences (U.S.A.)
On August 4, 2016, Professor Ming-Wei Wang, Dean, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University and Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library visited College of Pharmacy, Western University of Health Sciences based in Pomona, California, U.S.A. He had individual discussions with Dr. Steven J. Henriksen (Vice President for Research and Biotechnology), Dr. Daniel Robinson (Dean), Professor Sunil Prabhu (Executive Associate Dean), Professor Jeffrey Wang (Director of Graduate Education), Associate Professor Megan Nguyen (Director of Enrollment Management), Associate Professor Ying Huang and Assistant Professor Yun (Lyna) Luo, among others. A common understanding was reached concerning the formation of a bilateral collaboration on professional degree education. During the visit, Professor Wang also met with several Chinese scholars working in the college.
